SANTANA
Delivered with a level of passion and soul equal to the legendary sonic charge of his guitar, the sound of Carlos Santana is one of the world's best-known musical signatures. For over four decades - from Santana's earliest days as a groundbreaking Afro-Latin-blues-rock fusion outfit in San Francisco - Carlos has been the visionary force behind artistry that transcends musical genres and cultural and geographical boundaries. Forty years and as many albums later, Santana has sold more than 90 million records and reached over 100 million fans at concerts worldwide.
THE CHARLATANS
For a long period of time, The Charlatans have been considered genuine pioneers of the Madchester style, a mix of psychedelic rock with indie and dance sonorities. “You cross my path”, their latest album has been released in May 2008. The album is the 10th material in the band`s career, but also the most appreciated one, being considered by the fans a genuine masterpiece. Having performed live and remarkably at international festivals such as Glastonbury, Coahella, Benicassim, Oxegen, T in the Park, Reading & Leeds or Isle of Wight, The Charlatans impressed Mick Jagger & Co., who chose them as opening act at the Rolling Stones concert in 2007, in Bucharest.
THE TING TINGS
Their debut album “We Started Nothing” went straight to #1 in the album chart on release in May 2008 having sold 1 million albums worldwide. The Ting Tings formed in 2007 and the first Ting Tings music to be circulated was the original version of “That's Not My Name” in early summer of 2007. Their 2008 autumn shows became the fastest selling tour of the season and in the very same year, Katie and Jules won best UK video at the MTV Music Video Awards in LA and Best Festival Pop Act, Newcomer and Anthem Of The Summer for “That's Not My Name” at the UK Festival Awards.
LOOPTROOP ROCKERS
In the early 90s, MC Marten (Promoe), an 8th grade kid with long hair and big mouth, aside a school mate, DJ Mc Marshall (Embee), discovered a common passion for hip-hop. Aside DJ Mc Marshall and Mellow T (Cosmic), another kid from the hometown Vasteras (Sweden), Promoe set up Looptroop. It`s been 17 years since Promoe and Embee took the first steps into the music industry, and 10 years since the birth of the band`s record label, David vs. Goliath, since then releasing four studio albums, touring worldwide and propelling Looptroop as one of Europe`s most appreciated Hip-hop!
THE MOOoD
The band from Bucharest became one of the most appreciated names in the Romanian brit-indie rock trend, making its presence count more and more even abroad! After they performed last year for the first time on B'ESTFEST stage and a few days later, as opening-act for the Lenny Kravitz concert in Bucharest, in front of over 16 000 people audience, at the beginning of 2009 The MOOoD made their internationally debut, within one of the most important European festivals bestowed to revealing and promoting new artists - Eurosonic Festival.
GRAVITY CO.
Gravity Co started out as a side project making music for the computer game “Trans” in 2001. Since then they have carved a niche for themselves with an original electro indie sound, with warm vocal melodies over pumping electronic beats. Having released three studio albums and a live performance DVD, Gravity Co are the most successful modern Bulgarian band in recent years who have performed to full capacity venues and supported the likes of the Stereo MC's, Fun Lovin' Criminals and more recently Ladytron. After receiving nominations and awards at the most expected Bulgarian musical events, Gravity Co became more known across the borders starting with a special live showcase at this years EuroSonic Noorderslag event.
PERSONA
At the beginning of 2004, the band`s first public performance has been very well seen amongst the audience, as well as within the local press, which rapidly named them ''the British band of Timisoara''. After a year 2008 full of concerts in Romania`s largest cities, one of time aside dEUS (B), Kultur Shock (USA), Air Traffic (UK), Trash Fashion (UK) and Robots in Disguise (UK), 2009 started with the song ''Momentary Lack of Passion'' reaching the first places in the radio charts, which designated Persona as one of the best Romanian brit-indie bands.
